Also some versions of the Mossetti Patriot chassis have aluminium pans . Are they permitted ?

Note:- some versions of the mossetti Patriot chassis come with front wheel uprights and some don't.

For those that use paste flux ( at least you can't knock it over and spill it ) it is cheaper to buy it like this but you won't get this at Bunnings you need to go to a plumbing store .

For the information of slot car racers Ezi Weld 801 contains 60% Hydrochloric acid Bakers fluid is mostly Zinc Chloride . Using a acid flux is needed for tinning Proslot drill blank shafts and soldering stainless steel . Bakers fuid is fine for just about every thing else and is the correct flux to ...

Wayne that problem is only with Cahoza and Koford endbells . Use a Fox or a Proslot endbell and problem solved.

I think it would be to much of a break away from the US rules , plus with a motor that weighs about 22 grams in the rear a little bit of weight in the front helps balance the car up. ( most W12 chassis come with pans at the front for added weight anyway). edit - I only need to add about 1 gram to ge...

The rules havn't been put on the web site yet but we were talking about it yesterday and I believe that will be the case from now on.
